[FSFTN] query for use data card in ubuntu 10.0 version

my friend unable to use idea dat  card in ubuntu what should i have to do
but it works in windows

One more query:

i can able to copy files from pendrive to linux (ie)ubuntu but i cant copy
from ubuntu to pendrive wahat should i have to do
