[FSFTN] problem about audio and vedio,please help

If you did not get the startup sound while you are logging in to
the desktop, Then I think it might be some Problem. Even that might be the
reason that your audio device might be muted.
1) Check System-> Preferences->Sound and look at the first tab
whether the machine is muted. Check the hardware tab whether your Hardware
is detected or not. Check the output whether it is configured.
If the machine gives the startup sound and if you are trying to
run a .mp3 or files similar to that, you have to install some packages which
you can see when you are connecting your machine with the internet, goto
System-> Administration-> Update Manager. In that list, click check button
on the bottom then It will check for all the drivers missing. If you can't
find the solution, Report to this thread.
